The first Italian to challenge America

Sabrina Bianchi is officially the first Italian woman to take part in the Race Across America (RAAM), the longest bicycle race in the world.
The project to bring Sabrina in the U.S. began with the decision to participate in the Race Around Slovenia, race valid for the qualification to the Race Across America.
In the Slovenian race, held in May of 2009, despite a few months preparation time, Sabrina was great, hitting the first shot to qualify for the race American.
Preparations for the American expedition began, members of the crew, who will follow Sabrina on the streets of the U.S., have been defined.

From April, 29th to May, 2nd:
the last long training is scheduled. Sabrina will cover about 1.000 km.

From March, 18th to 21th:
a training session from Cesena (FC) to Saturnia (GR) is planned.
Sabrina will pedal with some friends for  about 800 km, both day and night.
